Acur-It Auto Repair

I've been taking both my vehicles to Acur-It for years - 2005 TSX 189K, and 2010 TSX 75k. I've never felt that I overpaid for service or parts, or that they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. They have fixed my brakes/rotors, starter, power steering, AC, transmission seal, timing belt, door-lock mechanism, and suspension - shocks/struts. Ask for Jerry, he's on the frontline of customer support, and genuinely a great guy.

This was my first visit. I had always gone to the dealership for all repairs and service on both Honda’s that I have owned. My confidence level in the service at the dealership has eroded, and I decided to try somewhere else. I went to Acurit for minor service maintenance on a 2010 Honda Civic. I got an appointment when I wanted it, and I was able to wait while the work was completed. The work was done in very good time, and everything about the work was explained to me. I left feeling confident and I will return 12/20/23 Since my post five years ago, Acur-It has been taking care of my 2010 Honda Civic. I just had the latest service last week, which was a tire rotation and an oil change. I was able to wait, and it was finished up before I expected. Friendly service and thorough work. Just can't beat it!

My family has been coming here for years and my father recommended this place to me in 2019. I’ve taken 3 vehicles here over the years, but after comparing prices at various car shops, I found Acur-It to be overpriced for their services. Additionally, my experience with them highlighted issues of unprofessionalism and disorganization. During the past few visits to this shop the disregard for customer satisfaction was evident, and the charges for their services seemed disproportionately high and questionable. Don’t let this shop charge you for things they didn’t tell you about prior…… they have done this in the past. Overall, I would caution others to explore alternative options for a more reasonable and customer-friendly experience. Their dismissive communication style added to the discomfort and will give you the ick. I know a job is a job and people may be dealing with their own issues at home, so I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I also try to put myself in others shoes, and understand their side of things/concerns. This shop just lacks that customer understanding and support. I hate to have to write this comment after many years of coming here, but I strongly advise against choosing this shop and recommend exploring better alternatives for your car needs.
